Team Workshop

Oh my goodness was it wonderful to get the whole team together!!!

With new faces, new titles, and another big year on the horizon it was a pleasure to host the team to a lovely brunch at Troquette and enjoy some mimosas as we prepped for 2023 and got to know one another better. The key to growth and to knowing who we are is reflection and we took some time to look back at why MB even came into existance 11+ years ago. The goal was to pursue passion, to offer friendly guidance, and to grow in knowledge so that our experience could ease the tension of planning such a big event. In 400+ weddings we have learned so much and we want to impart that knowledge on the team to prepare them to offer the same strength, confidence, creativity, and guidance to their clients.

The goal was never to the be the biggest.

The goal was never to be the most published.

The goal was not some sort of Instagram fame… or aire of perfection.

The goal was to be someone clients could lean on for support. Someone they could trust. Someone they could hand things to with total confidence of their skills and awareness of what that client needed. There is no “perfect” and I have never had a desire to come off that way. We are all learning, we are all growing, and we are all human. If the goal was “perfection” there was never a possibility of success in that.

Outside of 2020 we have had consistent growth year to year to year. Our goal is to continue educated our team so they can be succcessful in this industry. It is to push the creative limits of the Midwest. It is to show up organically and as we are. It is to ask questions, learn from every experience, and show our clients that we have got it handled.

I am so thrilled to be growing our team this year and bringing in such an array of personalities and talents. The common denominator is always hospitality and passion. Desire to make a difference in someone else’s life and flex their creative muscles. We have planners from all walks of life from lawyers to speech pathologists, corporate planners to photographers. We will be continuing our training with virtual lessons and updates, sessions with our senior coordinators and more.

From our humble beginnings are great things and I am grateful to each and every couple that has and will entrust us with their day. I am grateful to a team who is eager to support those couples and work with me to continue my business goals. Overall I am just beyond amazed that we are here and that we have had such wonderful experience for the last 10+ years.

Thank You! To all of you, Thank You!
